I am 53 and I am a bubble gum fanatic! And since someone mentioned shampoo - anybody remember the old egg wash shampoos?? They also have a list of discontinued candy and sadly, Chum Gum is one of them. Sad. I used to get in in Columbus, OH at the Tremont 5&10. I bought Chum Gum back in the sixties too. Here's one for you how about Chum Gums little brother "RED DEVIL GUM" as I recall it was sweet and spicy. Discovering that a favorite candy is being discontinued is akin to loosing someone close to you. Would love to see it come back, at least for a trial year or two. It was and still is unique and indescribably delicious. I enjoyed them when I was a kid from the 1970s, 80s, and 90s. We would get a couple of pennies and walk about a half mile to buy some. A selling Black jack and Beemans said he has a source that sellsChum Gum by the case.
